I created an identity for a new Rock'N'Roll "Kustom Kulture" inspired bar in the East Village called Pinks. Kustom Kulture was born from the Hot Rod culture in California in the 1950s (but has become a global phenomena) and involves anything from making cars go fast and looking pretty (from hot rods, drag racing) to so much more like tikis, pinstripes, pinup girls, and art (Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and Rat Fink, Von Dutch). It was quite fun exploring designs for this bar and working with Avi has been a pleasure. Check it out and get your fixx at 242 E. 10th St in NYC. Say hi to Avi for me!
